Dahl class have made a great start back to school and have really impressed us with their positive attitude and approach to learning.
In literacy we have been focusing on Horrid Henry stories and have been thinking about how an author creates atmosphere in their stories. We have used lots of drama conventions to help us explore character feelings, emotions and predictions about what what might happen in a story.
In maths we have been looking at number sequences and used a range of resources to look for patterns in the numbers. We have also looked at logic problems and the children were fantastic at reading the clues carefully and working collaboratively to solve them. They could then write their own based on what they had learnt.
Keep up the good work Dahl!
It’s great to have you back 🙂
